I am pulling a code 43 - fuel system malfunction code. Vehicle runs fine with no issues. 02 sensor is 41 and doesnt seem to be the issue.
This is OBD1 on a 92 civic - any ideas?

it still usually could be a 02 sensor had the same problem (low fuel supply) changed the 02 sensor and got a adjustable fpr

Now to address the lack of heat and bouncing speedo issue!

I was having heat/AC issues in my white coupe too. I switched out the climate control. The problem was that the temp lever pulls a line to open and shut vents controlling the heat/AC flow. You can actually see the line underneath the dash. A tab had broken underneath my climate control that was holding the line, so I wasn't able to get the desired temp setting. Get a new climate control and that should fix the problem. As for the bouncing speedo, I had that issue in my 93 hatch. Just pull your cluster out and try to push the speedo pin back in. Not too much though, or you'll lock it up. If that doesn't work, get a new VSS, or what I did was just got a new cluster.

I took off the glove box and held the cable while I adjusted the heat...

- cable seems to be fine
- thermostat replaced
- added new antifreeze
Still no heat - clogged heater core, perhaps?

edit; so does it just blow cold or warm at all

It blows slightly warmer and on driving gets to be cold. I hope its not the heater core :( I don't want to rip the dash.
Coolant looked fine - no discoloring. Plus, I am pulling 180 compression, so I know its not head gasket. I doubt its the water pump. I think reverse flush may help - I need a warm day to spend on the car.
Also VSS was not bad, cluster was. Installed new EX cluster and boom - no more bouncing speedo! Yay!
Thanks for the advice guys!
PS - IF anyone has an EG HVAC cluster, holla! I may try to throw a new one in to eliminate it out of the equation.

When you slide you Temp. control from heat to cool do you hear it switching something behind the dash...?????
It should have some tension to it when sliding...
If not could be the cable running to you climate control (common prob.)
Look underneath your Intake Manifold on the passenger side, there should be a small silver cable/wire with a bend at the end going into a hole on black plastic sliding piece......Try moving it manually under there.......(sorry for the bad description)
