I own a B16 with a bunch of bolt ons. I will be doing more to the engine, Nitrous and head work. But those are future six months maybe a year projects. So basically this is a stock engine I just want to get the best performace out of my car and use controllers to help the engine from getting messed up. I am looking at a AFC NEO fuel controller and a 2 Step Rev Limiter. What are the advantages to both, and what are the down sides of them and are they worth the money two step is about $160 plus installing it and AFC NEO is $370. Any help would be great I know what 2 step controller does and what the AFC NEO does. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Okay Okay you caught me I just want them to show off to the ladies!!!! LOL :teeth:
But really from the sounds of it a chipped ECU is the way to go. My check engine light is on because my rear O2 sensor it missing can I make my ECU fix that when I chip it so I don't have the CEL on. If not which ECU is the best to run I was going to go from OBD2 to OBD1 which I belive is a P28 ECU is what I need to fix that CEL. So I woulod just have it chipped I heard Crome is free does any one have any ideas on what is best and where or who could do it for me. Thanks for the help.

I can get you a chipped ecu and all motors chip for $170. This will shut off the Cel for rear O2 since the OBD1 doesn't look for it.
Dont waste your money on AFC controllers for tuning.

YES, because using CHROME is so convenient. If you plan on modiratly moding your engine, I would look into geting a fuel controller if you want to tune on the go. Burining chips all the time gets expensive and annoying. Look into Hondata or some type of piggy back tunring program-MAFT,AFC,E-manage, ext... To fine tune after your basic base eprom. Get something nice the first time so you dont have to upgrade later.. I run 4 different types of tuning devices on my car all of witch I can tune whal I am driveing makeing it nice to monitor my knock, egt's, timeing, and A/F ratios and ajust the piggy back's accordingly. To each his own.

Sorry it has been so long since I posted on here about this I was looking at ecus but every one has there own opinion I will most likely get one from phearable.net they seems to have good prices and a wide selection of data loggers and brands. As for head work not sure what I want to do to it still so I am putting that off a little longer Nitrous I still want and I am buying new injectors to help with fuel delivery I already have all other fuel needs met 440 injectors should work nice. I want a good Nitrous kit 75-100 shot and needs to be wet nitrous if unavaiable I will make it a wet system with some fabrication, but any one with a kit that is not way over priced and not beat up or crappy let me know and I will get back to you. Thanks and I am looking for a new intake and exhuast any ideas would be helpful I am thinking skunk2 intake and Apexi N1 exhaust or I already have 2.5 inch piping maybe just a turbo muffler so it is only loud when I am getting on it. Any ideas on this matter would be helpful. Thanks again.
