Well i got my motor back from the shop. everything turned out pretty good too~

block (darton sleeves)
crank stock
pistons (wiseco 8.5:1)
rods (crower)
KZ speed balance shaft removal kit i pressed all that in before taking it to them.
acl bearings
gasket kit
ARP main studs

everything was in good order too! i was afraid of some specs like the crank from a toasted motor but it was good, and bearing size and piston size
this block is bored 1mm over so im at 88mm

i ordered supertech valve springs seems to be the best for the money. they should be here and the head will be goin in next week! just a grind on the valves clean it up and install the springs. i might be picking up an old school crx for 100 buck from some kid that i know! im pretty pumped so i can get some better mileage than my gsx galant! haha
i have a pretty badass fuel setup in mind that i think should work really well too!

yea its an 88mm h22. the head will be a mildly done fresh 3 angle and springs for now. im shooting for 500 hp this spring and going from there..but thats the breaking point on a lot of things on this setup. mostly drivetrain. my clutch is a ceramic 6 puck and hold up to 500 ft pounds of torque.
removed a lot of things in the bay too balance shafts have been removed also.

i took the head in today, nothing crazy. surfacing, cleaning, new seals,and dual valve springs and i mildly ported the exhaust side of the head, just wanted to clean up that castings and match the ports and manifold

i need 1000cc injectors if anyone has any for sale? and dual fuel pumps for this trick bitch

got my cylinder head back from the shop last night! looks good! fresh valve job cleaning planned flat, and supertech valvesprings installed! :D didnt want to do to much to the head this time around i want to leave room for upgrading in the future! all i need is a 2nd fuel pump and my injectors and she should fire up :D then final paint and all that shit and CF hood and roof cap and black c10 (replicas)wheels! im excited as shit for this car to be done.. i havnt been able to drive it for a year almost. :(

i got my motorola 2.5 map sensor wired in and radiator needs to be put in with new brackets made up since i dont have the brackets and i need a fan, i have a flexa but idk if ie will fit behind there. so a parts store one will have to do

as requested boys okay here is the low down.. i was hoping to go for 600 hp BUT i have a feeling my 1000's are not going to deliver enough fuel on e85 since it requires roughly 20-30 percent more.. so right now im shooting for 550 but we will see.. i wanted 1200s but the cost is 200 more and to get the car to idle would be too hard as 1000s sit at 0-1% duty cycle at idle.. i have been up to a lot of shit with this.. trying to get all the small nickel and dime shit out of the way! haha once i get my tax return i hope to be buying a carbon fiber roof carbon fiber hood and come rota c10s 16's in black.

the integra cluster swap is nice. make sure you get it all wired correctly. i got a good diagram if you need it.

it will be done this spring :D and everything works perfectly under the dash well whats left of it now haha, but hazzards even work ( a problem for a few) and all the wiring was taken car of cross referencing and all that jazz, just doin g a little fuel pump wiring tonight get them on new relays with 10gauge wiring and from a good source of 13 amps and not the regular 10-11

okayt this weekend i was fighting a few things on the motor side but sunday night and a few beers later its going great! engine was turning over relaly hard.. confused and then 90black track and redleader and i were discussing.. and drew(blracktrac) and i last night changed over the cam caps for THE head thats on the car, i goofed up and pulled them off the wrong head. and turns over smoothly now! reason for being rough is becuz each motor has their head and caps torque and line bored so everyone is different!:hithead: but then

problem 2 timing belt kept walkin in so i shimmed it and it was walking out.i am converted to a manual tensioner from the h23 becuz the hydro units from h22s really like to fail! and thats no good but down side is timing belt goes on very very hard! you have to leavce the cams loose and slid the belt on the cams and lower them and THEN pout the caps on haha. so after a while of messing around i got the thing to stop walking all over the place :D im just glad we got this far this weekend! im pumped!

if everything goes goioid and my tune and injectors come! i should be able to pop it off this weekend but the only other thing is the guy that was going to coat my manifold and exhaust housing on my car is going to be gone so it will be a very short start indeed! until i can get those parts back so later next week or maybe later:( here is the coating on my old hatch!http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k289/jarebear667/100_0482.jpg

its a bitch even if i did that, and i have it all ready made from last summer, got my 4 point momo bolted in! and started doing more body work on it i found a few imperfections and i had an incident on my passenger fender. so once thats done it wilklbe going in for paint again! and be done! my carbon fiber roof should be here this week :D

its a carbon fiber lay over, i was going to do that race cap but i have a lot of stuff together and would have to come out and i didnt want to do that install its more time and cleanup on that, so i did the lay over its taking forever to get here though! he says monday!

so early next week i should have

it run okay right now but its way rich at idle! i need to get that adjusted yet!

worked on some exhaust tonight and primed the fenders doors and a little of the quarters the doors had some hoopties in them and fenders were a little rought from leaning and a tank falling on it over the winter! i have a few ?'s on e85 i need answer though hmmrmrmrm

I'll get you my feelings on the onmi 12k/18k setup for drag reasons here shortly. Just got the car running, and that is what I am running for suspension. All the big boys out there are having great success with that setup though.

Back in 05 when I bought my setup, I paid 950 for their full body non dampening adjustable coilovers. That is with the drag launch upgrade, rear lca's, and camber kits for front and rear. I believe the setup for just coils now runs around 700.

pulled the transmission out just to double check my clutch and everything, a while back i had a bad oil pan gasket and it got oil on the flywheel and just covering the clutch housing and flywheel and the PP with oil, it hasnt slipped but i just wanted to take a look at it there is a little sign of glazing so im goin to take care of that and toss it back together with DSS 3.9's and integra calipers and 12" rotors next week hopefully.

stupid fucking shit.. im so pissed off right now.. so i have a 12" big brake kit for integras... integra dc2 calipers, spindles/knuckle from a 1990 integra.. it should all work right?! nope.. fuck no. now i cant find a wheel bearing to put on my DSS hubs to go into my integra knuckle.. its either not use the big brakes.. i need better ones.. mine are old.. or have a shim made.. which is prolly the plan i hope to get to DM next weekend.. if all is well.. i need to install harnesses, and repaint my door.. that shit can wait.. but i really want the brakes.. my dss will work fine with my factory civic knuckle but shit brakes..

what suks the most is i pressed in new lower ball joints all ready and cleaned up the spindles and have new pads for the brakes calipers and al that bull shit im fucking pissed.. and my aem isnt here..

integra knuckles for brakes.
civic hubs for dss alxles.

there is a 4mm difference on the ID of the wheel bearing and the civic hub using an integra wheel bearing pressed into the knuckle, so i will need a 2mm walled bushing 41mm wide. to press onto my civic hub. we got a hold of a confident machinist and he is goin to hook me up.. tuesday.

in the mean time aem ems and very crazy! infinite adjustability.. wow! i just hope we can get it all figured out and have some sort of basemap for saturday!

well its planned for the 14th! but i think i blew another headgasket.. will find out today. i went with oem honda too and was only on 8psi.. im confused.. i have arp studs my shit was decked and planned well if it is one more gasket and a planning and see what happens! and the brakes are weak from not having a big enough master but that will be fixed tomarrow and the tune it hella strong it pulls very well and hard!

so went out last night got it on the 2 steplaunch control and got some traction in third almost lost it in 4th haha it was the fastest ive ever felt a car pull :teeth: and then white smoke haha and really really took care of the head gasket tore it down in 30 minutes and parts are coming and head will be going in on monday if this doesnt solve it im more than likely going to take a break from it.

What are you torqueing the head too? three step sequence? Which block? A1 or A4? PCV setup? Cooling system (radiator, therm, cap, fan switch)? Just a few questions.

yea im tq'in down properly in 3 steps and ending at 80, i believe its the A1, 4 hoses coming from the VC, one like stock to the IM w check valve and one going to the boost pipe with a check valve also so im not boosting my bottom end and then 2 going to a small catch can and then from the catch can there is a hose toing to the intake (vaccum) of the turbo to pull or try to pull vaccum in the bottom end. cooling system is a pusher fan with half mishimoto, 16 pound cap. new stock heat therm. umm its on a switch (factory relay) but i made a jumper to see whats goin on it would only over heat badly when i would boost it. and it ended up being a leaking head gasket.
head goes in tomarrow and new oem headgasket back in and toss it together and i got my 1" master and booster in today oo and need to clean up wires behind dash so that is out also. yay what a weekend and still plenty of time to cash a few cases :toothless

okay bad new and good news.. my block was not decked.. sleeves were lower than the deck and the people who did the motor charged me for it but said they did it but its obvious it wasnt so now i have to pay for it.. 350 bones gone. and back together friday ngith and then tuning on monday. 600 or bust.

that was definitely the problem then. That blows. I had the same type of issue after a local machine shop here told me they align bored my mains and didn't. I put the bottom end together, same issue as before. Needless to say I was pissed. Took it somewhere else and got the problem fixed.

got it tuned runs very well seems to load up or miss down low at about 300-4000 after that its all out scary on the street with 525 and 405 tq on 21 psi my injectors maxed out (e85)and i dindt have the balls to use nitrous or time left to wire it into the ecu to use it properly and let it pull timing while being used.. maybe in the spring after i get used to this haha it would take nothing to get it to 600 with a shot. and while leaving on the interstate 4th gear pull we layed down some serious black marks on the interstate from 80-120 shit tires but scary!

indeed, they just miss each other, and on the other hand, i have a 74-70 taper throttle body coming with spacer plate from d and h racing, and my intake manifold is in the process of being opened to the MAX:teeth: this winter i will be going through and deciding on what i want to do to the head.. anyone have idea's lets hear them.
im thinking port match and not to full port(dont want to lose all bottom end)
new valves ( raise compression .5 )
guides and seals
and MAYBE camshafts.
and for sure a bigger set of injectors these 1000's are cashed. i found a real nice set that should idle and not be as insane as 1600's

well i found a head gasket that raises my compression .5 and with that and high comp. valves + .5 again i think i would be happier. :toothless

BUT i dont know how well the head gasket will hold up to 25 psi. may or may not the guy that has them has not tried a boosted application quite yet.

i found some 1260's 1600s are a little larger..
