[Saturday, September 9th, at 9PM]

East Hy-Vee Parking Lot
>> at the corner of Lincolnway and Grand Ave.
>> Ames, IA

Drive your car and bring your friends. Its time for the Annual Fall Auto Meet for 2006. This is the time to enjoy the great fall weather and meet some new gear heads who love cars more than you do. Last year we had about 45 cars in attendance throughout the night.

This is NOT a street-racing get together. Please don't roll in pulling e-brakes, doing burnouts, or generally anything else that a moron would do behind the wheel of a car. The night will consist of hanging out with other cool drivers, checking out rides, meeting new people, and perhaps even some sort of halfway organized cruise through town.

So tell everybody you know you drive up to Ames on Saturday, September 9th at 9pm and hang out with the best of the best (or just whoever shows up.)

Hey sounds good, I Live at Ames now too hehe. I thought I saw your car parking at the campus the first day of school...it was on the parking lot ramp east near Memorial Union.:teeth:

Wow I'm not going to make the meet I think, because *ahem*. I'll let you figure it out. :cool:

yeah, it probably was my car. just look for the RED4 license plates on my coupe. :)

This will be nice. I'll finally get to see who the hell actually has tuner cars around Ames.

This summer they seemed few and far between.. .

yeah, there are a decent amount of cars around here its just that there's never really any coordination between anyone and you just hafta get lucky to see them, lol. i hang out with several other Honda guys in town that all own hatchbacks, but that's about the extent of the people i really know.

like you said, hopefully this brings out a lot of people and its a chance to meet some new car people. :D :thumbsup:

we had a guy trailer his MR2 up from Des Moines last year for a night meet. its not that far of a drive from marshalltown....

i remember that. that MR2 was bad ass. i heard he ran against a GTO that night

yeup i'm going to be busy getting ready for auto-x. my tranny went KaBoOm so i need to find a replacement soon. 5.5K launches FTW!! :thumbsup:

i didn't realize the game started at 6PM that night. oh well, i won't be going to the game anyways.
