Just want to let you know if you have $300-400 to spend on a weekend of racing, Listen up
Porsche club is going to be hosting an even at the Mid American Motorplex

This is a great learners track I hear
Group 1 is all novice an beginer people Instructor in Car
Group 2 is people that have displayed enough skills in group 1 to qualify for a faster pace lapping session. Instructor in car. I'll be in Group 2.
I will hopefully be attending this event and will take a 1/2 day off work and probably leave straight from Marshalltown.
$240 for class fee
$10 for annual Porsche Club fee
$50 entrance fee to track
3 tanks of gas one to there-one there-one back
hotels will probably be like $70-90 depending. I need a roomate:teeth:
There are inspections so make sure your stuff is good to go
Porsche Club requires a Fire extinguisher mounted up, not sure of the details yet..
Extra expenses
Brake Pads - get some Hawk pluss's - bring spares

Brake Fluid - get something a bit racey
bring and extra change of fluid
Depending on your current rotors- might want to buy some new ones
Tires - make sure you have some tires that are comfortable to run on.
make sure they have 75% tread left.
