r all b series harnesses the same or what's the deal?

yes they are all diffrent but not so diffrent that u cant use it.. the diffrences may be teh vtec harness added in.. maybe extra senors plugs.. and if those arent used they can be tuned away... wait till dat chimes in

ok...is there any way to determine wut head i have

there should be a stamp on the head somewhere... i think tis under the intake manifold.. wait until dat chimes in
okay, its simple...
first of all what kind of car do you have?
and so the swap in the car is a b20/vtec motor...is your car/motor obd0, obd1 or obd2?
what does the intake manifold on the head look like, does it curl down, or curl up?
another thing, you shouldnt use speaker wire, when you figure out what you bought(which should of been done, well let me see...WHEN YOU BOUGHT IT!) go to a local junk yard or search honda-tech, and purchase and engine harness, for the right obd sensor and right head of your engine.
btw does your car run?
did you put the ecu in? or did the owner,
did you convert the ecu? because you realize its an obd0 ecu.
you got to be ALOT MORE SPECIFIC, details on anything else would help. that is why i said im not even going to try this, im pretty sure once you do this even you james can figure this out.
why dont you ask the last owner for help on what head you have and stuff like that?

i think its an integra and i would just go to a junk yard and tell them what you need such as a 99 or 2000 si harness and start from there lol

you dont need a 99 si harness you just need the plugs for the vtec sylinoid and the wires leading off of them (can be found in most 92-95 civics),take off all the tape and bullshit and find the wires you need it is a pain in the ass i have done it many times but if you need to extend them do it right solder all of the connections and cover them with many layers of eletrical tape , then get the pin outs from any radio shack and plug and play , if the car was converted to a diffrent obd insert the vtec wire on to the wires coming off of the obd conversion harness to the correct wire accroding to the directions of the harness.
now that you have ben taken to school fix it right.

there are 3 wires guys, 2 wires going to the green thingy, and 1 wire going to the other thingy right next to it, juss run those DIRECTLY to your ecu if you want but your gonna have to find out which pins to the ecu are for vtec, sorry for the bad terms guys, im new to this game.....:bye:

the black wire coming out of the "green thingy" ground to the chassis the other one run a wire through the firewall to the ecu plug "D6" and the green and yellow single wire run that wire through to the ecu as well and that one goes to "A4" http://tech.hybridgarage.com/tech/info_files/eg-pin.gif
geez lol, okay here are the diagrams i went off when doing a swap.

i hope this helps! because it basicalyl explains it all!
its pretty smiliar to your solenoid situation. but it would help if you came up with some details.
