All our cars are untuned.Damn it was such a fcukin experience, soooo much fun. I ran consistent 14 flats all day long, until my last ran came along and ran a 13.995 at 98.18mph, YAY!!! haha, my cousin ran really shitty times so im not gonna bother puttin em up, his car needs major tuning with what hes got, and traction was and issue for him big time.Big thanks and appreciation to nigga Jason for everything and supportin and encouragin me to run again and givin me points on how to improve, and Rikki for recording and takin pics and also encouragin me. haha, now i know when people say, yea i run mid 13's bla bla bla and all that nonsence im not gonna believe it until i see timeslips bitches,its harder than you think, until next spring!!!:cheers:

I already know my car is way faster now than it was at the track so hopefully I'm already running mid 13s:wink: Taking that damn cat out helped enormously. I got some road racing slicks too:teeth:
BTW a bunch of guys from Ames are going to run their cars out there this comming weekend. Saturday I beleive
I met a kid with a Black 00 Civic Si with a B18c5r and I/E and a nitrous kit, didn’t ask how much of a shot though. Full interior runnin on 17s and low pros slammed. the kid works at Butches.
I guess the dude in Ames with the Green EK Hatch and Built GSR motor w/turbo running over 400whp took the turbo kit off. Breaking news haha.

yeah i see those kids at school all the time, dont thier License plates, say Mean SI, and Mean B18, btw i believe the Midori Green EK has a B18c5 built, not a B18c1.(i could be wrong) The SI doesnt look too bad, but im sorry that EK looks horrible. the headlights:puke:

yeah thats right, the Green EK hatch is a Type R motor, whatever though. If it's built Type R or not its just another Built B series. I consider a type R motor that has been modified past Bottom end to not be a Type R motor anymore. And if he was running a STATED 470whp on a stock Bottom end Type R motor, he's an idiot for taking it that high unless he's rich. I know a guy that dynoed at 375whp in a stock Type R motor with a Vortec Supercharger and he snapped a cam shaft :eek: somehow.
Not sure what their liscence plates say.
Evidently a lot of people in Ames want to race me now.. .
I smoked a 2G AWD red eclipse just yesterday.. . He wouldn't even look over at me after I embarassed him infront of his girl. :roflmao: I event let him have the jump on me:tongue:

13.9 is frickin SLOW for that car.. . Low 13s should be had on stock Turbos at 14PSI basically. It must have been a full weight S14 94+ car.. .???

no its a k20a2, but they are basically the same as the type r motor, except the cams, tranny, and intake mani. so still got alot of potential, he would def. hit a better time with slicks. btw ive seen plenty of rsx's with I/H/E and K-pro hit 14 flat, and 13's with street tires.

its hard for lighter cars, the reason the dc5's have gotten such good times, is because of the weight, causing better traction. no need for slicks unless pushing serious power.

im refering to dc5s, your car is lighter than a dc5 so yeah you need slicks light car mixed with fast motor equals no traction. but heavy car mixed with semi fast car you probably could use slicks but really not needed.
but yeah your car should be what...around 200 whp right?

yeah i spent my money, on appearance, and THE RIGHT suspension, so when i do buy performance minded mods, my car can handle it. but i have all the time in the world, to start moding the engine.

haha i was 11 years old, i was just getting my G.E.D. and getting a house payment, so my kid and my wife could live somwhere. shit you were running 13.4 but i was running quicker times on my Bike, you know how we did right Dat, my Mongoose was crazy, and your Type S was nutz, you always falling and shit, least you didnt cut your finger off like Anthony did, we had a crew and raced eachother and made the noises and everything. payments where alot cheaper than a car, i could spend more money on handle bar tassles, and pegs. plus i had a family to support.

well truth be told that YES, my times were on street tires 2.173 I think was my best 60ft on 205/45/16 hankook Ventus RS2 street tires. slicks get you 1.8s which would have put me in the mid 13s easy.
mods since the drag strip. Replaced the 2.5" not so highflow cat with a home made test pipe.
results.: I am SPINNING the tires way more into 2nd, top of 2nd and top of 3rd sometimes.
I should deffintely be running mid 13s now compared to where my car was at the track
I think I am going to order a AEM CAI and hondata Intake Manifold gasket.
I am getting dyno tuned on Friday October 20th in Kansas City @ Forward Thrust.
EDIT I'm looking for 215whp and 160ft lbs trq I hope. This would be good for high 12s with slicks in a cx or DX hatch, but I am in a EX cpe that has all Power accessories.

I have a R-Crew 4-2-1 longtube header. The cat I removed should help those trap speeds along with some other things.
I have a CAI coming in next week. I have a shorty on right now. The CAI that I am getting has a velocity stack that is going to be mounted in one of the front bumper vents. Dynos have been showing 15+ hp over a shorty :teeth:
The shorty was a quick and cheap intake that I didn't have to pay for when I did my swap. Time for any upgrade

Hey I know those two kids from ames. The kid with the Black Si is retarded but yes he does have the ITR motor with a 75 shot of nitrous i believe. But Oliver the kid with the Green Ek does have 475hp, and it is completely built. He took off the turbo kit for a while but i think its back on. I havent talked to him for a while.

Last time I looked under his hood, the nitrous injector wasn't hooked up. He must not leave it connected all the time.
