Just thought I would drop by and say whats up from Independence, IA. Just moved out here from So. Cal. See there are quite a few heads on this board from IA.

A lil about my ride: Just a lil Ej6 with a lil work done under the hood. Waiting to get it out here from Cali right now. Might have to drive it out.

hey welcome, yeah i met him too on the honda-tech boards, so when is this meet gonna get started up! sorry about no one finding that thread until now. usually no one goes under the meets/events section of h-t to start a meet in iowa, considering there are so few of us. btw i was the one who gave you the link for this forum, on h-t(02_IT-S)

thanks guys for the welcome. Not really sure on where at in Des Moinse would be a great meet up spot. Like I was saying pretty new to area and right now busy working down here in MO. But I know spring time is my slow season and for sure wanna get something set up.

But for sure always going through Des Moinse and will keep a look out on spots. Just hard to spot places that are off the freeway. lol.

Cant wait to get my lil car out here and find out what its like to skys the limit with no Cali smog stations to get past. Think the hardest thing to find is someone to do some tuning. And I am sure you all know where the best places around are going to be. Cause sure not letting "billy bob" the local Mechanic here touch my car. lol.

If you want to get your car tuned around here the best place is not here, lol. i would go to chicago, kansas city, somwhere in minnesota, those types of places are probably the closest. yeah i wouldn't let some hick touch my car too.

but yeah you gotta love iowa, since there is no emissions testing, thats just about the only positive, lol.

there are some nice spots for some meets, thier is only two problems with trying to get a meet started in iowa...first the wheather here is really unpredictable, so we got to time it just right, and two, depending where we meet at, some cops can be real assholes, im pretty sure thats true just about anywhere.:tongue:

Yeah its a JDM GSR with GSR tranny with OEM LSD got it from Hmotors.com
