i got all my head work done and its now being shipped back to me from Milpitas, CA.

the motor is now completely done expect one big part: camshafts. still need to order those.

correct h23 block. im think i might go bigger, but then i would have no use for the pistons i got and i would have to have weisco make specialized ones. not worth it imo.

For road racing boost I would prolly stick with a turbo that will be slightly boosting around 3500 and hit full boost by 5000. I think under 300whp is deffinetly the MAX needed in a FF road racer.

When you are goin down a straight and let off the gas, down shift, go into a turn, then get back on the gas around the apex point, you are not going to want to be hitting full boost. This will cause ((EDIT understeer)) and might put you into a wall. If you let up off the gas too much, your back end will rotate more than you want it and you will spin. Sounds like fun huh. Not too much gas not too much boost not too much lift.. . .

Smooth Vtec engagement and smooth power curves are what you want to look for in a turbo FF setup.

You better be looking into some 225 rubber for that biatch. Oh yeah, also a HUGE full size radiator, some heat protection under the hood and an oil cooler.

Here is a in car view of a Scion TC that's not setup the best, but has a bit much power. A boosted Honda with a rear stiff setup like he has would rotate better.

Just throwing out some friendly advice. Not hating.

I'm a bit puzzled on the 16x8 rears, must be for looks?? If you are going to be tearing up the road course everyonce in a while, you are going to want to be able to rotate tires. You can still run the same size tire on each but that is going to give you a different feel. If running the same size tire front to rear, just make sure you use the same compound rubber or you are going to have some variables in your handeling you wont know what to do with.

I look forward to your project being complete as maybe I'll have another Honda guy tearing up the midwest Road Courses with me. Prolly try to get in atleast 4 HPDE / 8 days of racing next year. Some SCCA solo events as well.

BTW 225/45or50/15 Falken RT615s might be coming out after the 1st of the year. Going to be a hot ticket. I will not be running them most likely though. I'm going to shoot for the Nitton Nt-01 in a 225/45/15 which is a racing R compound tire that has been proven to be better than the Toyo RA-1 for dry grip.

Next Year I plan on hitting

Possibly Iowa Speedway in Newton
Heartland Park Topeka KS for sure
MAM in Omaha for sure
New Track in Nebraska for sure
The Autobahn CC in Joliet Illinois if they run a full Track HPDE
Maybe Road America Towards the end of the season

this build has taken over a year. its all time and patentance. if you rush it you will ruin it.

the car wont have the h23vtec boost motor in it till next spring summer. however the car will be running with the new tranny in it hopefully soon. that if the guy sends me the tranny sooner than i expect.
