What's up man? Havn't seen you since I bumped into outside of Royal Mile (if you even remember that, you were pretty drunk!). Ya, I moved to Iowa in 2001 from Miami. Been into cars since I was in diapers though! Not sure I qualify for any status, as I don't really hang out much with other car people these days.
Right now I have a DC2 with a few goodies on it. I'm working on my BMW project though mostly. It's an older 3 series I'm busily swapping a Ford 2.3L Turbo into  I learned to drive in that car and finally my dad let me have it this fall.

This is the beamer:
1983 320iS (S basically means it got Recaro seats, a rear sway bar and a sporty steering wheel). It's in REALLY good shape though.. my dad owned this since new. It was sitting around in his hanger for the past couple years, so finally he got tired of it being in the way.

Not much update since I took that picture. Basically the front end is off it (I'm painting/pickling the front end and engine compartment). We mocked up the 2.3L this weekend, and it's a go for sure... almost like it was meant to be in there. I would've kept the BMW M10 engine, but ... parts are too expensive. A set of pistons for a M10 is like 930 bucks!
The only hold up I have right now on the project is finding a front sump pan and oil pickup off a Pinto or Mustang II. I might end up having to buy a high dollar Canton racing pan or the like soon if I can't find one.

Yah the Teg is a good DD, but it sucks wondering if it's going to be where you left is constantly. This area isnt as bad as back home in Florida (where I had two DC2's stolen) but still.

It's stock height now, I raised it back up the day I bought it. Otherwise nothing impressive really, but it does have ZERO rust .. which is the reason I bought it as my DD. At one time the car had a Vortech blower on it, but those days are long over.
I'll take some new pictures of it when I get a chance.
