Saturday April 21st

I will be attending this AutoX school - come out to see how fast you really are!

SCCA Auto X solo School - A must attend - Price is under $75.oo !!!
all the details are not ironed out yet - 3/9/07

You will learn:
1.) car control
2.) more about your car
3.) more about racing
4.) about SCCA
5.) about Auto X
6.) about cars in general
7.) HOW TO HAVE TONS OF FUN!
8.) How to kill lil orange cones
9.) How loud my car really is:teeth:

The Days Setup:
Drivers and Safety Meeting
Walk the courses - YES, thats says COURSES as in 2!! oooohhhh yeah!!
Watch an Instructor drive the courses
people will be grouped
then people start driving
Groups will rotate thru-out the day

i'm thinking about doing it. my buddy sean(white 350z) has been tryin to get me to do it for a while now so i think i'll try it out. i need to get a helmet now and then i'm set:cool:

They will have around 5-10 helmets there that you can borrow for free.

You can borrow a friends Motorcyle helmet as well.

i've seen my buddy's helmet on a hot day and i think i'll pass on a borrowed helmet:spoiled:

Yes...bring them Honda's out in full force. I'll be there. Should be good learnin'. Not to mention...it's gonna be at the Adventure Land parking lots. There is also a Solo event the day after on Sunday the 22nd.

you can register for the AutoX school now!

remember: all you need is a car that runs, doesn't have broken suspension parts, doesn't have leaks, has radial tires, has a battery strapped down, has good wheel bearings, and you don't have to have a helmet b/c you can rent and or borrow one.

Yeah...I see YO got the last spot. Should be a fun group of us...we'll have a blast. I wonder how big the fire ring jump over the ditch will be.

i think i'll come out and watch this one since i have to work the week of the show. I think i'm actually gonna pick that muffler up off you sometime, Gabe, when I know if my g/f's grandpa can weld that for me or not.

PS: this thread is about the "Solo School" on Saturday. The actual event is on Sunday...where there will be more cars and more action. I'm sure it would be fine for you to come watch on Satuday if you'd like though.

i'll be there sunday also to watch. i don't think i'm ever going to get my car to go down a straight track that fast at all. I think I'll start looking into these AutoX/Road Race circuits. :thumbsup:

I didn't sign up for the school but I might be present at the AutoX on Sunday. I had some things come up and I have obligations to get drunk Saturday Night for my Best Friends going away party. Can't miss that you know.. . .

The last time I went to an AutoX hung over I didn't have fun at all so I don't plan on driving:spoiled:

I can't stress enough that you do these events sober and well rested. It really does effect performance a lot.
