Next Meet in the Summer? [Archive]

Got some requests to make a poll about the next meet during this summer. Do you guys have a preference on the date, time, location? Looks like some people prefer somewhere at the end of July and at 6PM, but I'll go ahead and stretch out some more choices for the date:

My vote is for whenever...I doubt I'll make it anyway. Something is bound to come up that will veto my plans. I'll try my best to get there this time though.

this isn't socal, hook yur car up with 2 or 3 kill switches and some other goodies and you are good to go :thumbsup:

Everyone should roll up with those JDM liscense plates all in characters. That would be JDM made tite. and no one would be able to run your plates.

There are races every weekend except August 4th and 5th, thats why I voted for the 4th.

July 21st and July 28th there are Races at MAM near omaha.. .

well, now, definitely not the 28th. A wedding invite just came in the mail for the 28th.. . 28th is SCCA races at MAM which I planned on going to and helping out Harlan's VW team again.

the 21st is atually a Mustang Club HPDE at MAM.
There is a NASA race at the Autobahn CC in Joilet Illinois on the 21st as well.

I haven't decided if I'm actually going on the 21st.. . I'm just kinda reserving that day if I get the itch to kick some mustang ass or go visit some friends in Chicago after working a NASA event on saturday.. .

FYI, sorry if you are mexican american, I don't mean to bash you, but it does seem a lil crazy that every park that I go to, there is allways a ton of mexicans in and around the Park Pavillians / shelters. Especially at the parks where there are activities around like a beach or playground.. . If a meeting is setup around lunch or diner time near a high traffic area, there is a good chance the Pavillian will be occupied and one will have to be found off the beaten path.

The main reason I state this is on the premises people want to grille out.

Most of the time the best way to have a grille out at a park is to register it with the Park and reserve the place ahead of time.

umm yeah, you are NEVER giong to get every board member to a meeting.. . not even everyone in DSM that is on here.. .

Shit when I was part of a car club we couldn't even get Everyone there and we were a pretty tight nit group of people.. .
