JDMCITY Forum Rules & Guidelines

Registration to this forum is free! We do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below.
Although the administrators and moderators of JDMCITY.COM will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of JDMCITY.COM, nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.
By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.
The owners of JDMCITY.COM reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.
Posting
These rules apply to all threads and posts as well as screen names, signatures, avatars, and images here within.
Spamming is absolutely not allowed in the forums. Spams, phishing sites, or classified ads posted in forums will be deleted immediately without notice by our admins/moderators. If caught, your account will be deleted immediately and/or IP banned without confirmation.
We take copyright/ownership/plagiarism seriously. Contents posted are to belong to their righteous owner. Never say it is yours unless it truely belongs to you. Give credits to the original owner.
All threads posted should be in their righteous forum/section. Please do not post Toyota threads in Honda, image threads in video section, etc.
We take racism seriously. There is absolutely NO posting of any kind regarding racial category or status pointing to a specific racial group of any kind.
There will be NO posting links to viruses, spyware, or bots of any kind that may harm others viewing it. If found, user account is to be BANNED immediately, or a resolution to be resolved.
There will be NO pornography of any sort allowed! If found posting these contents, a warning will be given or account deleted without notice.
Threadjacking is not allowed here. We do insist you create a new thread about what you want to post instead of destroying someone else's thread. DO NOT do it!
Stay on topic of the original thread or post. We insist that you stay on topic to the original post whenever you are posting a reply to a thread. This way, you are not threadjacking someone's thread and everyone is on the same page.
Redundancy. DO NOT repeatedly post or quote images in a row over and over (eg 20 images). This defeats the purpose of reading the threads and causes headache of scrolling thousands of pixels down the screen.
Back from the dead. DO NOT post and bring back threads from the dead whatsoever, unless you really have a good reason to brink them back. These threads include those that are a few months old or few years back.
CAPS LOCK off! We do insist you turn your caps lock off when posting anything. Writing everything in all caps will not only intimidate others reading your post, but also intimidate you.

All threads/posts of that violate these rules will be deleted/locked and user warned/banned/deleted.
Members
These members rules apply to all members within this forum.
We promote friendly conversations and good contributions to the forums. Do not provoke or threat other members in this forum. Take it somewhere else.
While having groups, gangs, clubs, or what have you in real life is cool, don't bring them here in the forums. There is no need to showoff or brag about how cool you are or that you hang with this certain group. Go brag about it somewhere else.
All members who violate these rules will be warned first, or banned otherwise.
Avatars
While avatars are enabled, guidelines for them are as follows, but not limited to:
Avatars cannot exceed 100x100 pixel resolution.
Animated avatars are allowed.
There will be no pornographic images allowed. There are a few exceptions such as images with minimal cleavage, etc.
If avatars found to violate the guidelines, a notice will be sent by our staff to the appropriate user to change it, or action taken.
Signatures
While signatures are enabled, guidelines for them are as follows, but not limited to:
Signatures are limited to a number of characters allowed by our admins. Please keep all signatures simple as possible so that they won't clog up the threads.
Only 1 image allowed per signature.
Images cannot exceed 500x100 pixel resolution.
If signatures found to violate the guidelines, a notice will be sent by our staff to the appropriate user to change it, or action taken.
To prevent problems and help our forums stay clean, we would like to ask each of you, as a member of JDMCITY, to follow the rules and guidelines, and to report all posts, threads, and other forum issues to our admins/moderators ASAP.
Please report all malicious posts by using the "Report Post" icon (http://jdmcity.com/images/buttons/report.gif) below the user's avatar/screen name.
