Are you running a chipped ECU or a stock one?

Re: Fuel pump issue help
Just adding to this as i have purchased this car now. So the guy i got the car from said that it is in limp there is a whole in the exhaust. So when I'm driving the car will sputter, a couple things about the car that i do know is that it is at 8lbs boost, tuned on chrome, 445 dsm injectors or 450 don't remember. 255 wilborow pump. Greddy bov. The issue is again car sputters, smells of exhaust and getting terrible gas milage. Any help would be get. Thanks.

Try getting it retuned

Re: Fuel pump issue help
I would check and make sure compression looks good, timing is spot on, change the spark plugs, check the resistance on the plug wires, see what the cap and rotor look like, check for any oil leaks, and see about getting the exhaust leak fixed. Once you are 100% sure it is in tip-top running condition, then take it in for another tune. Taking it in to be tuned when you have other issues will just leave you to wasting money, and less satisfied with what you have then when you started.

Re: Fuel pump issue help
Thanks. Is there any recommendations on who to take it to. Central imports I'm assuming

Re: Fuel pump issue help
Ya. I've figured out the starting issue. Someone tried bypassing the clutch safety switch. Not sure why, but that has been plugged back in. I think there still might be a problem with the ignition switch. Also there are only two bolts holding the turbo on the header.
