Volvo 245 Project

Well I've been working on a Volvo wagon project for awhile now so I figured I'd make a thread to document progress.

I picked it up in the back lot of a fellow Volvo dealer in Iowa city for $400. Overall not too bad of shape but needed a lot of TLC.

I decided I wanted to spruce up the exterior so I set out to fix up the body and repaint it. The cutting out of the rust and rewelding in new metal is completed. The filling and sanding has begun.

Here are some pics of the progress:

That's it for now, I'll update once I get more done.

Because it is a reliable over engineered chassis that came with a factory turbo and has a ton of cargo space. People around here think a 4 door civic is sleeper...bullshit.

and because Volvo>MitsuEagle

should look similar to this but without the gay wheels when all said and done:

Interesting build that's for sure, is there much aftermarket support for them? I'll be watching it! I like these odd ball sleeper builds

so it turns out it took a long ass time to get to painting this thing but it's done.

pics of progress, still have some small stuff to put on, the rear bumper is off in the last pic. it's getting lowered, light tinted, and a swedish flag on the roof.
