GSR Build! Need advice..

Im planning to do a GSR build this winter, and stumped on ideas on what to put in it..:hithead:

So I was wondering, what thing you guys would consider putting in on the build?! :teeth:

All idea will help alot.. I have so of the basics in mind, but more would help alot! Thanks for look! And the help!

For now, its a stock GSR.

As always.. what are you planning to do with. Boost, track, a daily driver with some umf to it?
What ever you plan on using it for, is whats going to determine your build

Doesn't sound like you know much about building cars if you're asking this, so I doubt you have any experience with building a motor. Just stick with looks and don't be a cheap ass about it. It's an integra, they aren't fast, plus people don't seem to care about power anymore these days, especially when it comes to integras. All you really see anymore is a bunch of kids with raging boners over one that's clean, lowered, type r front, and has a mugen wing.

thanks god someone finally said it,
there are very few "builds" around here anymore,
and it seems like 90% of the ones that are around are cheaply put together and have taken multiple short cuts,

indeed I do. So this guy is asking questions trying to gain knowlodge and you "track stars" are just being assholes. And why? Cause you don't like integras? Yes there are plenty of junk ones around town and then again there's ones that have lots of money and sweat and blood put into them. So you're saying people who build cars just for looks cause that what they wanna do are wrong?

What if I said 240s or crxs are junk huh?

I would agree that 98% of crxs are junk in des Moines. Wouldnt be hurting my feelings any if you said my crx is a shit box also. There's a lot that's bothering me with it. 30% of 240's in des moines look mean as fuck but here we are with all show, no driver. 20% of the them look like shit but are very well built 240's atleast trying to do something a few are. The other 50% are just junk.

You want me to give him my thoughts. A decent intake, very nice header, some sort of programmable ecu and stock exhaust with electronic cut offs. Worry about cams and that shit later.

not being assholes, fucntion>form,
tired of seeing all these supposively "clean" cars get more respect over a built car,
ecspecially when at meet theres 15 just a like just different colors/wheels,

Re: GSR Build! Need advice..

thus why ill stick in my dsm/mitsu community where we actually BUILD cars to perform, not just look like they might be able to, and are actually fucntional, this is one of the things that makes me hate 90% of the honda crowd, its ok though hate away, :teeth:

Re: GSR Build! Need advice..

OP, I was serious with my first post, sorry that it somehow strayed off in an argument and a butt hurt kid.

To get back on subject, it's true. Just need to lower it, hell you can put it on ebay springs and stock struts kids only care about how low it goes not how nice it rides. Next you need wheels, they gotta fit as flush as possible too. From there get a Type R front and a Mugen wing, and lastly if you wanna be big time baller, get some bright red or yellow Racaro seats and a type r shift knob. Then bam! Anywhere you go you'll be giving kids boners and droppin bitches panties.

I shit you not either, just do that and you'll get more attention then a fully built and race prepped Lotus. Supra owners will be nobodies. Skylines??? Yeah that's right, they will be nothing compared to your sweet mad JDM looking integra. I fucking mean it too, 100% dead fucking serious with everything I just said.

I don't know what happened or what went wrong over these last 5 years, but apparently you don't have to do anything to your motor anymore, shit you can even keep that stock air box and manifold if you want, just so long as your valve cover is red.
