Mine is a 5 speed, but I bought it from this guy named Van on Army Post Rd. I'm pretty sure its the only good car he has ever sold (without a license of course).

I don't recommend taking cars to him, unless you don't have the money to get something fixed. I can take me car in there and say "how much for this." to which he says "$100" and then I say, "but I only have $60." "Oh okay, I do it for $60." Haha! He is a major rip-off artist too though...

I'm going down the list of all the reasons why my idle surges.

Today I:

Checked my FITV
Added coolant
Turned idle down a little (it was running at about 300rpms while completely warm

I know there is another valve in a round housing to the right of the intake manifold that could be at fault as well as a possible vacuum leak somewhere. Other ideas? I have to re-watch the video from ericthecarguy to double check this list.

I also picked up the slack in my throttle cable.

I've decided that I'm going to bring this mother back to a good form. It will look like trash still, but it can still run well! It only has about 149k on the odometer and it'll last for another 149k...maybe.

Off-topic, but do any of you have thoughts about how to tighten up a shifter? Mine has a bit of play while in gear. It's not popping out of the gates or anything, but it is just kinda jiggly and I'd like it tighter.

Damn it's good to have an exhaust that goes all the way to the back of the car! Wrenches hooked me up. I had a blown out flex pipe and the pip rusted off just before the rear axle pipe. This makes A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE!

Do you guys think that F22A4 with about 149k could use a fuel injector cleaning service? I know I had it done on a 97 Chrysler LHS that I used to have and it felt like a new car afterwards...again A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE.

Oh shit! You're lucky the spring didn't hit you. That would make for a really bad day! Where do you get your alignments done?

Could be the shifter bushings. or you might need a new shift cable.

I need new wheels.

Today I contemplated putting my Ebay CAI on...but didn't. I will probably have to cut it and make it a short ram cuz when I tried to put it on a long time ago, I realized it's not bent correctly for my car. The filter would be located where the headlight is.

The spring did hit me luckily i the shoulder though. im starting to feel better now, head still hurts a bit. Alignment wise T&W Tire here in town know the owners so i can get it done free after hours. especially the use of the lift on ocassions. Bought a Turbo Rebuild kit so i can refresh it for summer time. just need to find a place that will balance the turbo if i dont just mark everything to line back up before i take it appart and run N/A for the next few days.

Very nice. Did I read in another one of these forums that you're running a DSM turbo? It might have been someone else, but if it is you, which gen and how involved was it to make it work on your CB?

Yep 2g exhaust manifold, for the Evo III "Big" 16g turbo. the DSM setup is pretty much a direct fit, only have to redrill the exhaust manifold holes. other then that not to much just have to be creative with Charge piping, and exhaust. after that, mostly just installation only other thing to do is tune. i plan on either buying another dsm mani and redrill the holes. but becareful its pretty hard to find an Evo III "Big" 16g turbo without the threads ruined.

That sucks man... I've run over a curb before, but I was quick enough to set the wheels straight as I slid straight at it and just hopped up and into the grass, then drove down the other side. That was at the Northpark Mall in Dport.

I pulled some e-brakes tonight...shit is STILL crazy fun!

Fucking exhaust... I just blew it out again today... I think they welded a new piece of pipe onto a rusty resonator. I think I'm going to just go resonator-less... It doesn't make enough difference with my magnaflow muffler anyways.

I think I'll need to do that next year at some point. I might be able to get it to extend out two years. I haven't been the nicest to mine, haha! I'll try to do mine myself before I spend a ton of money on it.
