Default f23a1 to obd 1 problems

l am having issues fixing the obd1 swap on my cb7. l have a p28 ecu, two of them actually to verify the ecu is good. The engine is in limp mode and throwing a CEL, but when l use the jumper to read the codes it does not flash any codes. l have verified l am doing this right because l have already fixed a code six by replacing the CET sensor and resetting the ecu. The engine is missing and idling very poorly, but when driving it is fine besides being in limp mode.

Any help would be much appreciated

Yes you deffinately need to tune it! Which injectors are you running in it? I imagine if you are running the H23a1 injectors that it is extremely rich.

Yea ill come check it out. First step is to eliminate any potential problems. P28 isnt made for a h23. If u cant get a p14 maybe try a stock accord ecu. Since they use same size injectors. Also did u reset the ecu? Pull your back up radio fuse 7.5a also are you COMPLETELY sure your vacuum lines are correct? My old lude miss fired due to incorrect placed lines. 515-669-8035 call or text me if needed.

so you have a f23a1 in a cb7?

why? i mean its not a bad swap but not very common.

so ill tell you you cant use a stock cb ecu you need a sohc vtec ecu..

go get a ecu from a cd5 that has the vtec motor in it.. ecu is called POA
