true dat. I've allways heard 22" for the lower hp lower torque cars to give the pull of an even higher FD ratio. Not tryin to dis.. .

Turbo or K powered cars are 23+ typically

I've cut a 2.1 on streets before 205/45/16 hankook RS2s at 18psi. about a 3300rpm launch and feather first and 2nd.

by using a gear calculator though, with my tires I'm like around a 4.75 FD compared to the stock 4.35FD in a RSX-S b/c they use like 215/45/17s(24.6") stock. When I use my 225/45/15s(22.9") on the track, I'm even closer to a 5.0 FD

gear ratio calculator (doesn't figure FD ratios using different tires than stock though)
