Start by checking spark, fuel, compression, and in time. Might have some old rotten gas might need tank drained and new fuel filter.

If it is getting spark then my guess of bad coil or dizzy is out... My 76z randomly wouldn't start the day I went to sell it and it just ended up being the coil. Hope it helps

lol your gonna have to step your game up then if you cant find the coil. you should download the FSM for your Z and become best friends with it...the coil is usually hooked up to the distributor by a plug wire...find/follow that..

ECU might have got wet and when you drove it it got fried, have you checked your fuel pressure, and how did you check for spark? Because you need to pull each plug and put them in the spark plug wire and ground the plug and crank the motor and make sure each plug has spark, also make sure you pull your fuel pump fuse before this, or you can buy a in line spark plug tester but either way will work. GL!

I would check the voltage at warm idle and then rev it a few times and check your results with a fsm. Do you have any check engine lights? And how did he clean it?

cleaning a MAF with anything other than a special cleaner for MAFs/MAS will cause problems. Like say brake clean or Carbon Clean, they ruin the MAF. and don't use compressed air to dry it off.

We let it air dry and all he used was a knife idk if it worked or not but it stoped it from messing up for a lil bit and now it's doing the same thing again

Have you tried pulling the ECU codes yet? If you haven't, please do so and let us know what it says. If you don't know how, please look at this:

I'm not against the idea of looking at it for you, but see if you can't pull the codes using the instructions in the link I posted. At least give it a try, then depending on how that goes let me know and I can come take a look. I can't make any guarantees though, I'm more of a 240/skyline motor guy then a Z motor guy.

Pulling the codes is pretty easy though, the only tool you should need is a screwdriver. Try it and get back to me.

I'd Say check in Injectors are actually working or the rail, even if their new you could of had faulty ones.
Maf is a biggy
Check Rocker cover O-rings to see if oil got on the new sparks
