If you're asking for help on where to start I don't think that this project is really for you. But good luck

I'm Certain that no one in Iowa has done an r33 exterior conversion on a S14.
Try forums.Nicoclub.com

Your also more than likely gonna weld everything, so find a legit shop.

What all are you wanting to do? Just the body panels like bumpers, hood, and fenders? If so you do know they make body kits that bolt right on and look like skylines right?

Is this an R33 GTR? Or GTS. Because if you're talking GTR and want to convert your 240 to the ATTESSA AWD, then.......good luck.

yes it is the GT-R and yes it is the awd rb26dett version. and i am wanting to know if anyone has ever done it before because the awd conversion part is what im not sure about working or the extent of modification im going to need to do. and as for the body part i was just curious if anyone on here had done it and had some hind sight advice on how it could have gone better. ive done body work and am capable of doing it im just looking for pointers on how to make it look enough like an r33 that someone who knows skylines has to take a second look.

post pics of your previous work and i will tell you whether or not you are wasting your time. no offense, but it kinda sounds like you are some 16 year old kid that is just window shopping on jdm importing websites...this is me calling bullshit.

yeah slow down and do some research and planning before you jump headfirst into something that might not end up completed/done right.

Too many good cars end up ruined this way

What you should do, to save time, money, and the work. Is buy an S14 and then buy an R33 from canada or something like that. Then swap the vins from the s14 onto the R33, then junk the s14 with the skyline vins and everything on it or just keep it tucked away hidden somewhere. Then register the skyline as a 240.

yeah i dont want to knock what your going to do bro, because I definitely give you props for the amount of work your about to put in but if you really want a skyline that bad should have just waited till next year when the 89gtr is legal to bring into the country you'd have one legit in the states for under 10k... but good luck with the project do project photos would like to see..
