Default Rev-limiter help

I drive a 98 Subaru Impreza Wagon with a 2.2L in it. I would like to adjust the rev limiter to around 5.5 or 6 k just for safety and for the thrill of wrapping the revs :) but i can't figure out what exactly to do. any advice?

You can use a 1998-1999 2.5RS ECU. Its a 3 plug ECU and it'll plug right in and it will bump your rev limiter to 6700rpm iirc.
