hey fellas
just wonderin if anyone on here has any advice on droppin the tranny for replacin the clutch started doin it today, removed axles, driveshaft and exhaust today, next is on to the tranny...anyone have some wise yoda words for me |

The 2 studs at the bottom of the tranny is a pain in the ass. Other than that it is pretty straight forward. Be sure to replace your throw out bearing and clutch fork while your in there.

are these like the newer ones where you have to put a screwdriver in through a hole in the bell housing and release the clutch fork? Or am I confusing those with the Evo and Lancers?

nope, they are a regular push type clutch. The older models have two lower studs with nuts on the engine that holds on the tranny, the rest are bolts. Those newer ones with the bolt through the fork are a tricky one if you never dealt with them before.
