no offense, but asking 2500 when you clearly stated you got it for 800 doesn't make a lot of sense to me.. glws anyways

well technically since it is his, he can put whatever price he wants on it. I see where you are coming from but what if you would've gotten this car for free, does that mean you would be obligated to also give it away for free? probably not. is he going to sell it quickly on here? probably not. you never know what someone is willing to pay for something they really want. if there is money to be made then make it

I see what your saying, just saying if you want to flip a car, don't put how much you paid for it on the "Recent Purchase thread", and then ask 3x as much!

Have no need to lie about what i paid for for it, i see the awd shells sell for just 1500 all jus for an awd swap, an this one runs an drives so i think that makes it worth more, good luck finding another running 98 talon awd 5 speed that is mostly stock anywhere close to this price.

An honestly mainly looking for trades,

getting a car for free in non-running condition and getting it running, and buying a car on the cheap, not do anything, and raise the price just because are 2 different things. this is why its impossible to find any good DSMs around here because people do this shit too damn much and it pisses me off. also, what did it hit exactly?

may be impossible to find good cars because of this but people manage to find good deals. It just comes down to the fact that no one but the owner has the right to set the price even if he got it for free. theres demand for DSM's/Honda's and history has shown that people will be willing to pay high prices for junk'd vehicles. If you are implying that you wouldn't try to make money on a car like this then you are lieing.
