Great suggestion....you could also look into billet styled ones they have been starting to make for the past few years. They will already have the poly inserts and look great....just depends how deep you want to dig into your wallet. Regardless of which one you end up with keep in mind you'll need to add a bit of the moly lube it comes with around the entire bushing. Over time they tend to slowly deteriorate if left dry and to the elements.....won't be like a year from now but more like 5-7 years. Just keep in mind you'll lose the damper aspect of the stock setup....in other words it will make the car vibrate way more then normal...specially if you have the balance shaft deleted as well.

You will notice no wheel hop though and will love them to death!!

If I had money to blow, I would get these
http://www.extremepsi.com/store/prod...4&cat=0&page=1

But as of now I only have the inserts:

I have my balance shafts eliminated, and the vibration is noticable but not terrible.

prothanes are what we used in your build, and id recommend them. the first ones jax posted are very nice. a great option. just make sure your friend has an idea on what he wants to do tot he car, ie a goal, other wise the the difference between those mounts could be spent elsewhere for more "bang for the buck". no need to re-design the wheel ; ),

Nothing wrong with that. Plus if he decides to make more power, he already has them installed.
