Where are you seeing the "Awaiting validation" message? No validation is required here, at the moment. There are some restrictions applied to new members, and those restrictions are in the Marketplace Forums. I will leave it to you to read our rules and guidelines.

i will simplify and can only hope you won't go post crazy after I do. Reason is because you only have 11 posts as of now. You need to have invested some time and posts (25) to be able to post anything for sale. NOW, this in no way means you are going to post on every thread you can find to gain your post count. That is basically called post whoring and you will get infractions or banned from the forum.

Just be social and don't go crazy posting on old threads etc. If you have a car you are working on and pictures of what you've done, post it......but NOT FOR SALE or it will get closed. Remember, to join a forum requires you meet people and talk as if you were in a car meet or show. Just posting crap all over the board, to get post count up and whatever you are trying to sell, will not ensure you will sell it any quicker. People on this site and many around are starting to get hesistant about fraud and people out of the blue selling stuff without knowing a little background on them.

Thanks for asking this, I've been wondering the same thing too, and I've been waiting for over a month myself to be able to put my car and some gear.

Guess I better start contributing to the community.

It is understandable what you and others feel but fact is that all forums need some form of structure without it there would be a huge mess in here and less members.

I know what ya mean because I see it everyday on the forum....since I am always in here...lol Best way to get to where you need is to just be more social and really get involved....whether it be about things you have learned from car experience or DIY's or anything that can benefit the site in general. Clutter is always gonna be anywhere you go but it doesn't have to be done by you.

Yeah I been a member for a year and still can't post lol I don't care what other people are selling unless I'm interested in buying it. I rep key elements I'm no spammer I'm not a post whore I just want to test the waters on my civi but I'm not even sure if I wanna sell it I love my car and I respect everything about cars. I read threads here and I look at stuff for sale and I'm not going to post on there thread just to say how much u want and not even want the car or say nice car so the next guy has to read 20 nice car comments to read the one you were looking for. I guess all I'm saying is I've been a member for a year almost two and never made a pep I figured that would be good to activate my account to posts meaning this guy respects are p's and q's but its whatever let me know if u activate it thanks a bunch sorry for wasting anyone's time
