Going top mount turbo allows you to have a larger turbo. They will clear the hood if you don't get a crazy big one. On your type of civic you will loose A/C and Power Steering. If that's no big deal then go for it. They look nice and I wanted to put one on my Integra but then I would have to run a half size radiator. If you still wanted to run Power Steering you could pick up an electric power steering pump out of an MR2. just a thought.

You might be able to to keep power steering. My friend has a SPA top mount manifold with a big T4 turbo and can keep his power steering. You will not be able to keep A/C, but considering your car is turbo'd already.. I don't think that's a big deal for you. The only thing you will have to worry about is clearing your upper radiator support. I'm using a SPA top mount with a SC61 and I clear my hood just fine, but my turbo is almost sitting on the radiator support.. If you absolutely need to, you can make a small notch in it where the turbo will sit. I see alot of high HP set-up's using top mounts, but my only advice would be to not go cheap on it. If your short on money, yet really want to do it.. Buy a reputable cast iron top mount. Never use Ebay brand manifolds I've seen them crack way too many times. Hope that helps. If you need anymore info just ask.. I'd be glad to help.

Try Google searching it. You can't go wrong with a cast iron one. Blox, obx, rev hard are all good companies. I'm not sure if they offer a top mount though.

try blueridge motor sports or lovefab, full race . you will pay a pretty price but its worth every penny. Dont cheap out spend the $ you wont regret it, plus you get a warranty on cracking and the craftsmanship is amazing. i got a lovefab ramhorn on my h22 and its amazing!!!

lovefab is the way to go, check out their sight. For their top mounts they have different designs and ones for keeping powersteering and A/C. Amazing quality as well

I doubt a stock sohc need a 1,000 dollar turbo manifold. HAHA

the spa cast top mounts are nice and have never had a problem with them. Plenty of people have made over 500 whp on this 300 dollar manifold. I would also recommend AFI (arizona forced induction) or wiertech if you wanted a custom manifold.
