Default 92 integra

so the guy i got the car from said that it is in limp there is a whole in the exhaust. So when I'm driving the car will sputter, a couple things about the car that i do know is that it is at 8lbs boost, tuned on chrome, 445 dsm injectors or 450 don't remember. 255 wilborow pump. Greddy bov. The issue is again car sputters, smells of exhaust and getting terrible gas milage. Any help would be get. Thanks.

Take it to someone to have them look at it. I can't count how many ghetto turbo setups I've seen in town that weren't even hooked up or setup right. Plus I've seen so many fake parts that don't work right. Hoses not properly hooked up to wastegates and bov, sometimes not even hooked up at all. Cars that are said to be tuned that aren't.

Buying an already turboed car is something I almost always tell people to stay away from unless it's been built by a reputable person and that same person was the guy you bought it off of.

Your situation makes me think the last guy didn't know what he was doing, messed something up, couldn't figure it out and that's why he was selling it. Now you have to deal with cleaning up the mess. 5 months ago the last owner was having a problem with it that he had no idea what it was.

Good news. Lol. Well he tells me the exhaust leak is the reason. This is the teal integra that came from Wisconsin.

Finally some help. Lol. Are you the previous owner of the last guy who had the car? Anyway i have read about the iacv also the car seems to be sucking down gas. Could that be from the injectors? Also it has trouble starting now.

Did they prep it at all or did they just strap it down, tune it, then unstrap it?

Well i have cleaned the iacv, the fiacv, and no luck with the idle problem. But i did read about installing injectors and that you have to tune after install,or you'll have a messed up idle. So the guy i bought the car from said it was tuned, is full of s***.

I'm just gonna throw this one out there. It doesn't by chance have a Missing Link on it does it? I've got this strange feeling that its got that on a stock ecu. Would explain a shit idle and super hardcore sputtering especially given that you have dsm 440 injectors.

Seriously man, just take it to Central Imports or someone. That or just take the turbo off, the big injectors off, and have a stock ecu on it.

You've been trying to figure this out by yourself for a month now and from the sounds of it you've gotten nowhere. A shop could have this handled for you in a day or two.

Lol ya. I've just tried a few things to see if by chance it'd work. It didn't. I actually went to central imports today and going to get some things done and set up some times to get it tuned and get it running right. Tight on fundssince my wedding is this weekend so after that I'll be getting it tuned and running right.

So a little update, i put my car up mid November, and took the turbo off. Took me a while to get stuff done due to two jobs and a Hunny moon, but its up and running. But the idle still isn't working. Had sean help with my ecu, and getting a stock base map. installed dc 4 1 header and fixed my exhaust (no more flex pipe) car will be going back to Sean to get this thing figured out. It has searching idle, but not near as bad as before, but when I'm taking off the car sputters and rides rough. This will get resolved. maybe I'll post some pics up. All new interior also, no more tan stained carpet.
