Default Time to Get My RX-7 Running

Well, after my '86 GXL has been sitting in my garage for about a year, I am finally getting a fire lit under my ass to get it running. I bought the car knowing it didn't run, but figured I could get it up and running without too much problem.

A buddy of mine has a Scion xB that he shaved a while back and is currently in a semi-painted/primered/bondo'ed state. This past weekend, we made a $100 bet that I get my RX-7 running well enough to put 200 miles on it before he gets his box painted. He moved up here from Florida a month or so ago and just got a job. He gets paid the middle of August. Time for me to get the 7 up and running again.

I know of a running engine up in Ames that I am planning on getting in the next week or so. Other than the engine, I think I need a new clutch slave cylinder, but other than that, I am hoping it will be ready to hit the road.

The RX-7 right after I bought it:

The xB that is getting painted:

I got a RB Dual Headers for 100 if you want it and some other things from a series 5. New coolant hoses 4 ply black for 50 and a 14lbs flywheel for 100 too.

I have alot of S5 things (manifolds, pumps, etc) if you want any. I have no need for them so they are free if you want them. Im moving so I have to get rid of them.

EG, you have a PM

fcdin, I may be interested in the headers once I get the engine running. Flywheel might be nice as well. I'll let you know.

Lolz I just relized that I was on EGTypeR's sn. I can drop down the price on both to 60 a piece cause Im not really caring for them as of now. But I might trade the headers for a quick release hub too. Just let me know.
