Default SRS. light came on

Recently I took the seats out of my RSX-S, when I put them back in my airbag light came on...I made sure the clips for the side airbags were tight with no play...anyone have any ideas bout what I can do before taking it to Burch...last time I took him my ss if set me back a grand, but he's cheaper than a dealership...lmk guys

SRS generally holds its own codes, battery reset will not work.

It should help him....if not just rent out the scan tool from oreillys auto parts. It is a hefty initial fee to rent it but it I remember right they return it to ya. The code reader they have does regular obdII codes and abs codes.

I have actually done this, it does work. It can take a few tries it get it to work is all, which can turn into a pain in the ass....but works none the less.
