Default B20v turbo vs. b16 turbo

I currently have a b16 in my civic. And I have a b20 sitting in my buddies garage. I was wondering if any of you had any idea which would be a better power plant for boost? B20v or just straight b16? I would appreciate the help a lot.

depends what you have for resources. if you had the money to build and b20v then yes b20v I have a friend whose car is very respectful and puts out good numbers but if you get real crazy with it the b20 cylinder walls are thinner

Just boost the B16. Don't waste your time and money on a B20v just to make basically the same amount of power. I'm assuming you're not looking at building either of the motors, leaving them stock and slapping on a turbo kit?

If I did b20v I would build it. But prob just boost the b16a on like 8psi with quality parts.

If I did the b20v I would be resleeving it. N wouldn't be going real crazy with it.

Sounds like a big waste of money to me. Just boost the b16 on 8psi with a quality turbo setup and good tune. Will be more than enough power for a street car.
