Hi guys, my mom has a 03 Honda Pilot with a v6 3.0l. There's a vibration coming from under the vehicle. It only occurs while driving on flat surfaces at 30-40 mph. The vibration comes and goes when let off or by pressing the gas. It's a very loud vibration and can be felt throughout the vehicle.
Has anyone delt with this before or at least a link they can share with identical issues? I'd like to get this figured out and fixed before it gets any worst than it is. Thanks in advance! __________________ DD: 00' Civic Ex 94' Honda Civic Ex - sold |

Also, it has new brakes all around, and new wheel bearing. Vehicle has roughly 183,xxx miles and running strong.

put it up on a hoist get under the vehicle and have someone accelerate the vehicle to 30-40 and inspect drive axles/drive shaft for wobble.
also you could check tires while you are there. don't overlook the obvious. good luck ![]()

Thanks for the reply. I have not checked tires yet. Although, I was leaning towards the mid section axle or the load axle bearing.
But it's strange that the vibration only comes when cruising at approximately 30-40 mph. Once it's at that speed range, the loud noise/vibration goes away when braking or accelerating. I'll definitely will verify both suggestions to see if I find any unusual movements ![]() __________________ DD: 00' Civic Ex 94' Honda Civic Ex - sold |
