A stock b/vtec head will never be maxed at that low of a power number. Stock port, stock cam heads have made 800+whp many times over. More than likely, that whp# was limited by the fuel system, and not the cylinder head. Heck, many people have pushed stock valvetrain to 500+whp. A tune on Neptune is possible to make more power because there is more control of variables over a free tuning software like Crome. Either way, get that thing on a better fuel pump and some ID1000's or ID1300's and make some more power. Also, dump the Turbonetics gate and buy a real Tial from a distributor, and have the best wastegate in the business, on your car.

impressive those heads can do that!
for some reason When kyle boyd got the car tuned he said it couldnt go past 389 because of the head..
seems theres alot of "different" stories with this car....

If this is the case, that makes the power number much safer.

A Tial F38 is a better gate than what you have. Also cheap and easy to find. A step up would be the Tial MV-S. Amazing wastegate, just make sure you get it from a Tial distributor, because there are fakes out there.

making up parts on your car doesn't make it faster... it'll run what it will run. just my humble $.02

also, why would you buy a "built" motor and spend that kind of money on a big ol' question mark of a bottom end and apparently the head now too? when i buy parts and such for my lude, i kinda like to know EXACTLY what was done to it and by who. maybe i'm just weird that way, iunno...
