i personally think boosting the F series is cheaper and can be just as fun. depends on what your looking to do with your car. more info on what you want out of it would be nice.

i usually start with ride hieght, stance and wheels.

I own a boosted cb, gives it that get up and go. still using a f22 non vtec engine, and its capable of reaching and with money and mods surpassing the h22. not bagging on the h22 or anything, cause the h22 is also a nice upgrade but cost more then a turbo setup. if you look around you can find a whole turbo setup for around 1 grand. minus tuning and other misc things. and believe me being sohc turbo is sorta fun.

Yep, these things weigh about 3000lbs. I have a rusty 5 spd coupe myself.

One of my friends in high school had a 92 auto coupe that he turbo'd and he blew it up after only a couple of weeks. I've heard that the F22 doesn't hold boost as well as the H22. I know its all in how you build it and how you use it too though...

Sorry but you are misinformed. your friend that installed the turbo must've not tuned the ECU since the auto Accords are hard to tune on an Auto, hence the blown motor.

F22's can hold more boost then the H22 can because the H22 is a high compression motor and the F22 is a low compression motor so the F22 can hold a lot more boost then the H22 can.

This is probably very true. He had a terrible problem with lying. He probably didn't tune it at all to tell you the truth too. I think he dropped it in and drove hard everywhere, that is what I suspected to be the real reason why he blew it up. Thank you for the info!
