can any one tell me the power difference on lets say a gsr with a 4/2/1 header vs. a 4/1 header?

depending on the finall flange size i would say the 4-1 is better flowing cuz its straight pipe to the flange (instead of spliting to smaller pipe like the 4-2-1) as long as the flange is a decent size ut that also depends on size of the piping also.

Here is a quick basic understanding on the difference. 4-2-1 is low end and torque, 4-1 is more high end hp. If you're street driving and usually at lower rpm 4-2-1 is what you want, if your a circuit racing mad man, 4-1.
4-2-1 (try y) is more common and about 90% of the time the better option, provides better clearance along with easier install and removal. Another thing to add, is its not a coincidence that all the top name people primarily make 4-2-1. |

ik about the low end power and high and power difference.. im looking to see proof of this and how much of a difference there is.. iv ran both set ups on my cars but to me doesnt seem like much of a difference when drive.. my strip/street ls/v crx build i might just have to dyno it with both set ups on it so i can post the power difference...

what other mods do u have cuz just changing a header on stock car u wont really feel a diffference.

lol where do u start? itr cams, skunk2 dual springs and retainer, itr pistons with h beam rods gsr crank and a 100 shot.
