I'm pretty sure they do. I used to stop in there from time to time back when I was working in Ames. That would be a good place to go.

I say you build an h series ;)

Or build an ls without putting a vtec head on it. High compression like 13:1 on e85 and some toda vtec killer cams :)

i still gotta get the crank out so i got a little bit before taking it to the machine shop . Do you guys take the sensors out of the block when you take it to the machine shop or does that not matter and another question would you guys recommend buying pistons and rods before taking it to a machine shop

If you are planning on going to an 81.5mm setup, you need to have the pistons with the block to go to the machine shop. The reason for this is you want them to get a proper piston-to-wall clearance taken care of for you. They will determine that based on your use of the engine. I also remove all of the sensors when I take them in.

Thanks h22 for all your help. I really appreciate it. I've been reading guys using ctr pistons in this block. What do you guys think about that. Would they be reliable enough to get into the 200's or should I go with wiseso.

And if I do go with wiseco should I go to the 81.5 setup. I can't decide lol

If theres not much price difference I would go with Wiseco's and start out with a fresh bore. I would not put new pistons in an old worn out cylinder, thats generally not a good idea. If the cylinder is tapered or worn out of round the rings arent going to seal, your best bet is to start out fresh.
