Default back in the HONDUH game

making a roaring comeback with this little 08 FA5. got a good deal on the STI and this vehicle. theres a huge difference when it comes to power obviously but it still feels good to drive. I love the handling believe it or not and its not uncomfortable. lets not talk about the gas mileage, almost makes me want to cry of joy. Yes, the STI is no longer with me, was a fun car but i loves mah honda's. sheckit out!

my first mod.

its an 08, 70k on the clock. i'm keeping it clean and stock for now. i'd like to drive a car that you can't hear from a mile away for a little bit. maybe someday i'll get back into modding it but it'll be a while

fuckn' right.

i enjoy this vehicle very much. lack of power is evident but a non issue. Actually the first thing i'll be doing on this car is getting some better tires, these don't have much life left in them and theyre crap.

first of all avery, I would never say "check out the 9th gengen over there" because they are fucking hideous.
second of all, it keeps the little teeny boppers with their rice out civics with loud exhaust and front wheel drive drifters away.

Why on earth would anyone go from an STi to that thing?

More comfortable, better gas mileage, still fun to drive, and it doesn't look like a childs car. It was fun but sometimes it just doesn't push that button you wanted it to. This SI to me is much better looking and doesn't make me go deaf on my commutes to work. Its just better for me and what I want it to do. Pretty much a no brainer for me. Not to mention everything for it is cheaper. Rough times are coming and I like being prepared.

To add to that, its not just me turning into an old fart, for as much time as I spent in that car a day it was extremely uncomfortable. Clutch was too heavy, suspension was too stiff, car was too loud, and attracted the wrong kind of attention from people and cops. All considered, I'm more than happy that I got this SI. Seriously its one of the most practical, fun, wallet friendly cars you could buy. Its not going to get all the guys dick hard at the meets, but that's not what I want in a car and i don't like hard male dicks that aren't my own.

I will have to agree this comment. I really, really miss mine. I would jump back in another if I could get the chance...

insurance went down with the SI. I have full coverage, plus gap insurance, 500$ deduc, no rental reimbursement, MP $5000. Keep in mind i have a couple speeding tickets. went from $126/mo to $92/mo. may not be much but it all adds up. nothing but good news from this car

Haha, I say that line all the time! For sure shows we kinda grew up together! lol

Great purchase Randy! Obviously not as fast and furious compared to the STI, but definitely a smart change up.
