hey i need to get a front camber kit for a 93 civic, so it will stop eating my tires. Does anyone know which one with work the best off ebay. I know you get what you pay for but i dont have alot of cash for my car right now. Its more of a temp fix so it doesnt ruin my new tires i have like 70 or 80 to spend any help would be great thanks.

Use that $80 to get an alignment, (just your toe) and your tires will be saved.

How low is your car?

It's this one correct?

They shouldn't have any problems getting that on the alignment rack.

Go back in and ask to talk to the manager. Sometimes it's just a matter of putting some boards down on the ramps to get the car on.
Mine is probably just as low as yours...and requires no boards to drive onto the rack.

It should look something like this:

Jeez,I hate it when shops like that are uneducated......you should ask them if they have ever aligned any corvettes. If the answer is yes, haul butt to their place and tell them you car is roughly the same height and not as expensive.

Also, are you asking if there are places in the Des Moines area that will do it..........if that is the question, then yes plenty of places willing to tackle this.

ill give that a shot also. Thank you again Gabe its nice to have some people give you some straight forward answers. But imports I live in Cedar Rapids, i wish i lived im D.m. things would be alot easier. Some place asked me if i had aftermarket shocks. Why would that matter if they were aftermarket or stock?

I know what you mean man....I still remember havin' to ship decals up there....instead of havin ya pick them up...LOL
Now as for the shocks, that shouldn't have anything to do with what you are planning to do, unless they want to set up how soft or hard the rebound is, if they are adjustable. If you had coilovers then I would see what the might want to do, which is to try to raise it up.

I'm absolutely disappointed with this state and its lack of respect for our industry. You'd figure they could make a killing by just helpin' ya out.........instead, they would rather stick to one thing and one thing only, then screw the rest!:thumbsdow:

LOL...It's been one of my pet-peeves for years! I've been denied alignments so many times over the years...funny thing is...it's been shops that say they can't at one time...then later down the road...don't even blink when I bring my car in. I'd say it has a lot to do with the shop management and alignment technicians...just being lazy.

it's true. I've also heard that from some places they can because the use a eletronic one that goes by the car when its at its stock height and thats why they can't. Its just dumb to me because they keep turning me down for something thats going to make my car safer.
