Ques Add to cheap car or buy more expensive car

Ok, so I just sold my civic and i have about 5 grand to work with and I know I am going to get a lude, would it be better to buy a 2k base car and put 3k of performance parts in it, or buy a nicer car for about 4k and add a grand to it, just wanna see what y'all think of this

Just start with an H22 based platform to begin with if you are buying a prelude. Beyond that, have fun with it.

i agree. definitely stick with h22...unless you come across one that has been made h23 vtec. theyre pretty sweet
