The rear interior is quite heavy, and so is the dash. I believe his was one without a sunroof, so that is a plus, but I believe he is still running factory glass. No spoiler and a CF hood and decklid shaves a bunch of weight as well.

have ever gutted a trunk in a prelude? they are huge with all sorts of random metal welded in places for reason. you hack a good chunk of weight there. plus all the tar under the carpets, seats, and trunk. its possible.

yeah the car was over 2800lbs at one point with a stock h22 running street tire 14 sceond 1/4 mile times....
prelude parts are really heavy and im running super skinny's in the rear as well... car was at 2200lbs durring my 11.3 et pass...so i have droped weight and added bigger slicks since then ![]() i took a picture of the car on a scale for the nay sayers awhie back but if you look at my trap speed and 340whp dyno numbers my car has too be light too hit the trap i did.... the car is currentlly 2050lbs with me and a full bottle and full 3 gallon cell.... i have all most everything possible out of the car...tar is removed and all bumpers are hollow....i just recentlly fixed the oil pressure issue i had with the g23....hopefully going too the dyno soon... going too be spraying a 170-200shot through it hopeing for close too 500whp and a ton of tq....not many people out there doing big nitrous set-ups

i get ?'s on the car all the time on preludepower about weight i made this write up as a general way of shedding weight... http://www.preludepower.com/forums/s...ghlight=weight ![]() bigs and little's ![]() sunroof plug custom ![]() ![]()

yeah that thing was probally 60lbs or so....i deleted mine awhile ago....i allmost score a carbon fiber roof...it was custom made and for sale on preludepower...was 800bucks but the shipping and install cost at body shop killed that dream...
im thinking about doing a h2b swap at some point as well there is 20lbs or so of saving too...but on the nitrous im perty sure weight is no longer nd issue with my car...i should have around 400tq or so...nitrous is a hp and tq increaser at my weight and power level it should have the power to weight ratio too be trapping well over 140mph if i can drive good

h2b in the prelude chassis? you have to make custom mount for the trans. i think they are shorter so longer axle to on the passenger side.

Rosko has already made his H2B setup in his 4th gen. It is a thing of beauty. And Ben, a K transmission will not work. It rotates the wrong direction.

Yeah, you would have to flip the engine around in the bay, make it rotate clockwise, and then do a lot of other stuff. Too much of a hassle. Just swap a K in it.
