Default 96 civic ex O2 sensor

Looking at a civic, its missing the O2 sensor down stream. Has aftermarket exhaust and no spot for the sensor. Is this a simple fix? And how do you go about fixing it? Thanks

As long as the wire harness for the plug is still there, all you need to do is go to an exhaust shop and get an O2 bung welded into place (if you've never seen one it looks like a thick ring with threads in center). Once that is drilled out and welded it'll be as simple as screwing the o2 in and plugging it back.

Are there any check engine lights on the vehicle now?

Yeah CEL is on. I'm looking.to tradey blazer for this car. I drove it the other day and it kinda chugs when you take off. Kid said it was an O2 sensor but I have never had an O2 sensor cause that. I'm thinking timing may be off.

O2's can do some funky things in that respect but if your post cat o2 simply isn't there your probably in open loop in which the ecu isn't looking at the o2 sensors for feedback. So if your having an off idle hesitation your best bet is to look somewhere else. Hope that helps. Gl
