Default Half a wheels turn of play

I changed my inner and outer tie rods and a wheel bearing and now it seems that I have acquired around a half a steering wheels turn of play when turning the steering wheel. Any ideas? Everything seems to be tight.

So in order to be able to help you more we may need to know what you did all this on....as in year make model in other words.....lol
also, did you make sure to get them set as close to the original as possible?

Did you get car aligned afterwards?

Did you remove anything else from the rack and pinion?

Have you checked steering column inside car or outside?

Was it doing this before installing inner/outer rods?

Does the steering wheel still lock when you take key out etc?

Is it so bad you can't turn the steering wheel to drive car properly?

Are you getting tired of the questions

Would you like a beer with some answers?.....lol

Let us know when you can....we got Alllll winter to help ya out!!

lol well i figured out what it was but i applaud your answers and questions. they made my smile its hard to find people like that on many forums. its a 95 honda civic dx. i counted the threads and that was very off i have to get it aligned before too long but now i have it to where it is drive-able. Now i am waiting on a master cyclinder to come in so i have brakes. after i get everything situated and it licensed and insured, i hope to start getting a few fun parts here and there until i decide if i want something else or i want to try to build it.
