Default Picked up a new ride

So after getting my settlement check back from my Tiburon that got totaled I picked up an 0'1 Eclipse GT. Car only has 94,XXX miles which isn't bad for the year. Interior is very clean, only negative is the paint is oxidizing badly which is very common for Mitsubishi black paint jobs. Planning on taking it to a local paint shop or Maaco in Clive in the next couple weeks. Will post up picks and more info in the next couple of days and will post it in the NEW section.

Congrats on the new car. the Eclipse is probably way better then the Tiburon. I am not a fan of those eclipse but i do love the 97-99 GSX. I would go else where rather then Maaco. You can thank me later.

Yea its wayyy better than the Tampon. And I looked for weeks/month for a good DSM that wasn't way to "built" and the 2 I looked at were both garbage. And Ive heard both good and bad reviews about Maaco so I'll prolly end up taking it too a local shop.

X 1,000,000 on that...........Xclusive will be the best choice for what you'll be spending. They will take care of you through. Just make double sure they aren't swamped with vehicles and definately DO NOT try to rush them. They are great guys and will take care of your vehicle but most of their customers have NO PATIENCE and throw a fit because they expect the car to be done RIGHT when they get it there. If you want it done right, these are the guys to do it....just make sure you give them time to catch up!!

I ended up paying around $4500 for it at 6th St. Auto in Marshalltown. I know if I get her a nice coat of fresh paint and put a for sale sign in the window, I could sell it for ATLEAST 6k easily And I didn't really care for the 3g's either but its SOO hard to find a good "lightly modded" DSM around here. Also it sucks you can't do too much with the v6 but its pretty quick coming out of the factory. I plan on getting some new headers, either flowmaster or Greaddy exhaust, and K&N CAI once I get some dough.
