Default should i keep my 93mirage evo 1 conversion?

i cant decide whether or not to keep this car. i built it a couple years ago. i now have an evo 8 i like to do stuff to instead of the evo 1. but is it worth it? i bought a mirage for $50 and then a front clip to a 92 evo 1 gsr and converted everything even right hand drive. its not all wheel drive, but i was considering doing it until i found my evo 8. do i just sell it?

props on the rhd conversion. thats pretty sweet. for some reason i was thinking you did this to a mirage coupe...idk why lol my bad. id probably sell it, like your buddy said and dump some cash in that 8. still a cool little machine though how much are you thinkin of sellin it for?

either one of two of my friends are planning to buy it for $5000 so i could do a lot to my 8 with that. but i can decide where to start. driving the mirage is so much fun im going to miss that thing if i actually do sell it. ill just have to do an evo 6 in my future

personally if you can get 5k out of it, sell it. the most expensive thing on that car is the front clip and RHD parts, and even then i doubt it cost much more than what youre asking after everything was said and done. plus by the pics, it needs LOTS of work to be finished.

I would agree, if someone is willing to give you 5k I'd take it and run. If it were me (not knowing really anything about these) I would run. Mainly because the body looks rough as in nothing really lines up and what not, and I find the 4g63 very unreliable. I'm not bashing anything, just my .02

the 4G63 is as reliable as any motor if it isnt taken care of.

And not trying to hate but its not a full firewall swap. So the LHD still has the holes in it for the stock USDM setup. But you should sell it...

theres a car dealer in cananda that sells true JDM cars. they have older evos, hondas, nissans, mazdas and toyotas that are true JDM cars. the laws there is that if its 15 yrs or older, it can be imported into the country, and i dont think theres any crash testing it needs to go through. if i can find the website ill post it.

found it: http://www.osakajdmmotors.com/jdm-ca...-cars-c-3.html

i will be selling it. i myself havent seen anyother rhd cars around but i know of people who have them. ill be missing the rhd but its for the best.

it does have a full firewall swap. a year ago there were a few holes because i hadnt patched the corners that didnt match up perfectly. i took part of it apart this winter and welded patches and sealed it. no more holes except for where the ac lines go because its temporarily out of it. other than thats thanks for your imput rocko

pretty sure the same laws apply here as to canada roughly. however it might be 20yrs instead of 15 and you can import the car as a classic or vintage. thats how Righthanddrive is pushing their GTR sales since most options for a skyline dont exist anymore. they import the olllllddddd GTRs from the 60s and 70s and are fully road legal in CA. if its legal in CA shouldnt be an issue here.

i think the "classic" is 30 years TBH. but it may vary state to state though, so im not sure. i remember in washington it was 30 yeasr though, but that was awhile ago lol and it may have changed.
