What you think about the size tho? 205/55/14s. I want that size cuz i got a set of steelies in my basement. how tall would those be, and also, my dads pretty good at custom making stuff for me. So i had him take my old rear struts, and he pulled em all the way out, welded a bead along the bottom, then put, (instead of a spring), a solid steel tube over the rod. We also got some spare strut tops. Gonna try em out sooner or later, i just get lazy and dodnt wanna swap em at the track. LMK what u guys think on this......

The size is good. Equals out to a 23" tall tire. Should put you higher in 4th rolling through the traps. Right where you want to be.

not sure, picked it up for $125. no tag, but my buddy had it in florida. He said its a JDM J1 out of a crx SiR. Could be just an XSI tranny tho, not sure. Just know for sure its a B16 tranny. 70mph on the highway is round 4000rpm

post pics of those... or are you not going to be running them, curious to see how they turned out for you I have a SImilar setup. I drive on the street with mine but not very often ..

HOLY SHIT!!! i finally found out why i only went 14.20s........ so heres the story:
I went to a friend of mine so he could weld up a bung to my intake for my nozzle. Wel i pulled my NO2 pill out and it was a size of .028. I called dyno jet and they said with their dry kit, that pill should be a 30 shot. He then asked me what hp shot i was lookin for. He told me to get a 55shot i would need a pill size of .034. So i went ahead and ordered a pill size of .036...... Post ur opinions, but i think ill finally be in the 13s! with my math, i should be puttin down around 200ish hp.........

haha my buddy did that but the opposite, he wanted a 55 shot on his jdm b20 in his civic so he went and bought a .055 jet... I dont feel like pulling up my nitrous calculator but if i remember right it was around a 115 shot went threw about 10 bottles before he parted the car out a year later ( sold the swap and now my buddy has it boosted in his four door eg )

when I was driving it for the first time and raced a 03 cobra with pulley intake, headers, and exhaust, I walked away from him like he was sitting still


you ever get some pics of your suspension?? ya you'll be in the mid to low 13's on a good set of tires

my dad still has the struts at his work, keeps forgetting to bring em home. Yea the funny thing about it is when i get my bottle filled and that pill put in, its gonna be sittin sleeper status like it is all the time with a set of 185/65/14s, BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! when im at the strip ill have 225/50/15s

You wont run nothing lower than a 13.5. I'm guessing around 13.8ish with the new jet if that's the only thing your changing.

somethin wrong............ i put a .040 pill in it and it didnt make a bit of difference. I said screw it and lets go for broke.......... Put in a .062 NX pill and stayed right next to a 3.8SC regal that went 12.80s. Do the math,... if it was actually that size it should be a 175shot and A. should've blown my motor at 110mph, and/or B. should've completely walked him. And yes it was a highway pull.................HELP!!!!

A Nitrous jet size of .062" or 1.5748mm should produce:
173.60 HP with 1 port(s)

Actual HP to the wheels: 147.56 HP

I would suggest to not run that pill!!! not to talk shit but you have no idea what your doing on a 100+ shot, but you are right you should have blown your motor DEF. not going to "walk away" from a 12 sec car by putting a huge jet in and not take the right steps

If your going to run a 75 shot or bigger you need bigger injectors, and then have your car tuned on the bottle, or run a wet kit and know how to properly jet and read plugs,
I run new plugs about every 2-3 weeks, I'm running alot bigger shot but nitrous+race gas =dead plugs fast.

A. You "should have blown your motor, you could have a leaking line or leaking solenoid as well, also could have had low bottle pressure as well

B. You should have walked him yes, IF you had properly gapped plugs, on that big of a shot prolly .022 gap or smaller on a 2 step colder ngk bkr7e-11 plug.

my guess is you were blowing out your spark and maxing the shit out of your fuel pump and def your injectors if they are stock..

I'd either upgrade to a wet kit
or since you already have a chipped ecu Just get some decent sized injectors, a 255 pump and get it tuned on the bottle.

I PROMISE you your car will not last a whole bottle on that pill with a dry shot, the only way it will last is if the solenoid/line is leaking (hence not getting all the nitrous), I know alot of kits only rate there smaller solenoids to hold a 150 shot (your going 23h.p. past that).

IF you dont have alot of money I would at least get some prelude injectors or auto turbo eclipse injectors and run a inline booster fuel pump. hope fully you can get something GOOD setup before you blow up your car by just running extra nawzzzzz

Dont rely on nitrous to make your car fast or faster. Plus...seems like you didn't even tune it with nitrous...or re-tune it when you put the bigger shot in. Real talk, alot of the things you're doing right now is NOT recommended and is like a "noobish" move. 175 shot?!? yea...gonna be dropin some valves real quick. There can be many factors in why your car isnt running the way its supposed to, but Im not going to sit here and right a book about it.

Bottles are for babys, lose that shit.
