Default 2nd Gen Overheating Question

I have a very low mileage 1984 Prelude - Short Story: Heads were warped so I had them sanded, radiator cleaned & flushed, radiator pressure checked, new water pump, new thermostats. Car still gets warm on idle after it has been running for 15+ minutes. Fan does come on when idling. No leaks, full fluid. I have never had a Honda clear the 1/2 mark on temp, but this prelude will go to 3/4 even 5/6 of gauge when idling AFTER it has been running for a while. What am I missing? Any suggestions welcome...

does the heat indicator cool back down while driving? could be something as simple as the cooling system needing "burped". run the car with the heater on full blast, check the coolant level while doing this, there could be air bubbles in the coolant system that havn't worked their way out. that's just a start of course. good luck

Yes it only happens when stopped. As soon as the car starts moving, it cools down again. Thank you for your advice. I will try it!
