You should not have a 4l60e transmission... Unless its been converted to a 94+.. You should have the 700r4 that was just renamed as a 4l60. The only real difference is how the fluid pressure is controlled in the transmission. The 60e is electronic and the 60 is controlled by the throttle valve cable..

You may want to look into getting rid of that cc503 cam and talking to Lloyd Elliot and getting a custom grind unit. The lobes on the cam you have are not known for making that much power. I unfortunately am constrained to running the cc306 which uses similar lobes due to money issues(lack of it). With the cc503 on stock ported heads (which will flow about equal to unported aftermarket heads) you should make around 330whp with the auto and around 345 with the t56..

Thats just my $.02

What is the piston volume you will be running? I am worried that if you run a standard -5cc flat top with that 58cc combustion chamber you will drop your compression pretty low..

Also what I said up there is that Lloyd Elliot/Advanced Induction ported stock heads WILL FLOW JUST AS WELL as a non ported aftermarket head. You would also retain your small 52cc combustion chamber so that compression ratio would be way up there!

That would almost save you enough money to also get a custom grind cam after you sell that cc503 and then you can be really layin down some good numbers!

http://www.elliottsportworks.com/lt1.html

His LE1 heads sound perfect for you.. Keep in mind that those prices are that the heads you send in to get the work done are in good shape.

That price is for parts/labor for work done to your stock heads you send in. NOT actually purchasing another set of heads.

Lloyd is a great guy and will help you with anything. I would suggest buying a heads and cam package from him. He will custom grind you a cam specific for your exact application.
