well you sound all up tight about things, our cars maybe our passion but, we all share the same interest. sometimes we wonder whats going on during the winter months when cars are let to sit in garages.

Why did you go with a Stage 2? Clutch "stages" are based on how much torque you have. I'm guessing you could have gotten a stage 1 and been just as happy. You may have premature clutch wear by having a stage 2 without the recommended torque rating. It will cause clutch chatter at take off or slow speeds.

On another note... Stage 2 sure beats the OEM granny clutch...

i went with the stage 2 becouse its more durable and i plan on boostin the f22a6 so i needed the clutch now and didnt want to do it twice so i put it in and once you get use to it you can stop the chattering just have to know what your doin

Put some new NKG Iridium Ix plugs and wires in, followed by another new drive shaft.

Sometimes when I start it up it burns oil for a couple of seconds. Do you guys have any suggestions on what might be leaking? I have a feeling it isn't the head gasket cuz the oil is still perfect. I'm thinking it might be because of the spark plug o-rings. One or two of them are bad and oil might be getting into the cylinder from there. Thoughts?

How do you know that it is burning oil on start up?

Pull the plug wires after you have your car running and see if there is any oil in there.

if there is then it's either your upper tube seals or lower ones that are leaking.

The cloud of blue smoke and smell of burnt oil is a good starting place, haha!

I have changed the plus and there is oil on one or two if them. I know about the plug seals, I just didn't know if it might be something else us all. I still need to dive into the head to get the lower seals changed.

Lol that's true!

Only place oil could get into the spark plug tubes are from those gaskets.

Lower tube seals you have to take off the rocker arms, top ones are easy.

Would be a great time for a valve adjustment also!

Definitely!

I have read that it could potentially be the oil rings or some shit... I dont know, but it runs like a motherfucker, so it doesn't seem to be causing issues yet. If the motor goes, I might just sell it for parts since the body sucks and is hardly worth dropping an H22 in or something. It will probably last another 5 years though!

Once I replaced VC and I forgot to switch over the upper plug tube seals and oil just filled every tube to the top but no loss of power either.

just change your seals and should last you another while!

another thing that just went out on my car if your car is an EX is the oil cooler gasket, if you haven't changed that yet I'd suggest that you do if you have an EX.

I changed my valve cover gasket and replaced the upper spark tube gaskets a few years ago. There is another set of spark tube gaskets that is lower down in the head. Those are the culprits. I'm about 90% sure, but I'm not sure if that is causing the burning oil.

Oil coolers are for auto transmissions, aren't they?. I have a 5-speed EX.

Replace your lower seals and see if it stops the oil from burning.

You should have one too since yours is an EX model.

Do I need to go to the dealership to get these seals do you think?

I noticed that this valve cover gasket set has a set of thinner seals that might be what I need...http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web..._1417582265___

Which seals do you need from the dealership?!

Those are the lower tube seals.

Those are the ones that I was wondering about. I haven't gotten a good look at what they look like, so I was asking.

I diagnosed the burning oil though. Its just my valve stem seals going bad. Nothing too terrible. I will have to replace them in the next couple months probably. I'm not too worried about it for the time being though.

Today I put a new tail light housing in due to the other one being cracked and taped to keep the cops off my case. From the same incident where said tail light was cracked, a filler panel was missing below the driver side tail light. I replaced it with a silver one so now it looks a little better, but added another color to the car's pallet.

I like roof racks a lot. Even if it isn't used. For some reason they just look GOOD.

LOOKING GOOD by the way. Is that the shrine on the South side?

At the moment the bike rack isn't used but will be used later.

It's the pagoda by the botanical center.
