I'm reallY really really LOVIN' this car.........I love the color as well (Red is my favorite color)........we have another member in here from Omaha that has one that would love to do a feature on your car. He does a blog/magazine style feature on all types of cars..........yours would definately be in there.

Glad you joined our forum man........we need more diversity in vehicle brands, this is a PERFECT example. Never got a chance to work on a Bimmer until Nate brought his in.....only problem I had in wanting to do his clutch was what he stated before (rusted bolts on manifold). Everything on that car would have taken me a LONG time to get done and with running a business I just couldn't do that. So I opted for him to just take it back and have him take theengine out to make light work of it. Only thing I got to do was put on his suspension and fix a little electrical issue I really wanted to do the clutch on it but too many factors were against me.

Maybe someday I will get to work on one for sure...............these older models and the newer ones ALWAYS capture my attention. Good luck with everything you do with this car now and in the future.........

Well, you can work on mine if you like ;) It needs a lot of help... The car's not bad, but it's not great either.

The Cup Kit gave it a 2" drop... I didnt like the wheel tuck in back, so I made some spring spacers. I'll probably switch to some fully adjustable coilovers eventually, but I'm very happy with the current ride height.

The thing it desperately needs right now is tires and the rear camber/toe adjustment kit.

I'd like to get the camber/toe kit first to keep from destroying a new set of tires.... But my current tires just started showing cords, not sure if I can wait.

That's a nice car, I like it a lot. E30s are my favorite style of bmws. I'm guess you aren't running a whole lot of boost? that's judging by those 19lb injectors.

LOL, yeah. I'm running 6psi, not planning to push it much further unless the engine gets rebuilt. The car is great fun right now, I don't really need anymore power.

Most people will say: "why spend all that money on turbocharging the car when you could have made the same power NA for less" But they don't realize that to increase the horsepower by ~40% on a motor that has ~225k without Forced Induction would have required a complete rebuild to start with, speccing a large cam, increased compression ratio and all the same engine management stuff I have now... That would have cost around $2000. I'm at $900~$1100 right now... I've gotten a great bargain :)

the difference being you will have to do that stuff later on anyway but the boost will make it happen sooner haha

That's true, but with an engine build 12-15psi isn't out of the question... Then we're talking ~325-350hp (probably more than that with a displacement increase and turbo specific cam grind).

Wow, I have been off this forum for a long time! I came to post a want ad for some rims (to put a set of r-comps on), and I thought I'd look at this. Sorry to everyone who has posted in the last two years!
