Default Damper bolt

Hey guys, I own a 94 geo prizm with a 1.6L Dohc and a 3 speed auto.. My current damper/crank pulley vibrates constantly. I got another one to replace the one that is bad, but my problem is that the bolt that holds the pulley down wont come off!

I sprayed wd-40, let it wait a few, then try to take it off but nothing! It's irritating the livin' hell out of me.

I feel like if I keep doing this for a while then the bolt might break on me

Could I get any suggestions, please?

Thanks

Mike

what are you using to try and get it off, ratchet or air impact? might want to check if it is reverse threads to, i know some motors put reverse threads on dampers but not sure about yours.

Electric impact tool.. Not sure how much volt it carries but its heavy duty.. Checked the threads and its standard..

I just figured to leave it as is just incase the bolt breaks on me. Then it'll be a major problem if it does.

it's no way enough, don't care what volt it is. 1/2" impact is the only way. and wd40 won't do shit.

get some stuff from standard bearing on hubell ave called pentrate. or pb blaster from a parts store.

you break that bolt and you might end up replacing the crank.
